Last week, Senate Bill 400 was approved by the Senate on Wednesday, April 29 with only one “no” vote and now it’s on its way to the House. There were a couple of amendments made, including one being if a school district does not allow Girl Scouts to come into the school, they have to provide reasons in writing.
If you have connections to any of our Representatives, please e-mail the council. Now, we need to begin educating them on the Bill’s importance to Girl Scouts and our council. We will continue to keep you updated and thank you for any help you may be able to provide with this effort.
Reference the current bill.
